Children can romp around on the padded ground and play with large padded objects. The type of objects have changed over the years.

Crystal Climb

Crystal Climb was a series of a geodesic climbing mazes that opened at Sesame Place in 1982.

Children would climb around inside and the unusual shape of the clear walls gave a kaleidoscopic veiw of the park.

Children could climb through from one end to the other and the more adventurous kids could climb to the top of the maze.

Today the space is home to a more traditional set of playground equipment as part of Big Bird's Court.

Grover's Rubber Band Bounce

Grover's Rubber Band Bounce was an attraction at the part that existed from the early days into (at least) the 1990s.

Located just on the edge of Big Bird's Court, Grover's Rubber Band Bounce was three large structures with two giant strips of rubber inside each.

Kids would enter the Grover's Rubber Band Bounce and, essentially, bounce off the walls.

Today the area where Grover's Rubber Band Bounce once stood now houses a few brightly colored benches.
