The Big Slipper/Bert & Ernie's Slip & Slide

In 1985 Sesame Place expanded to add two water attractions: The Count's Fount and The Big Slipper.

The Count's Fount eventually was replaced by The Count's Splash Castle. The Big Slipper still remains at the park, but has been renamed.

Today the twisting flume ride is called Bert & Ernie's Slip & Slide.

Despite being named after Bert and Ernie, it is in the Elmo's World section of the park and features his image on the exterior.

It's a fun way to beat the heat and there are three water rides in a row here, giving kids three rides they can hop on and off without walking too far in between attractions.

  1. I remember the Count's Fount and the "Today Elmo is thinking about going places" signage but I never rode the Slip & Slide because I cannot do body slides; reason why being I'm going to probably go underwater when I reach the end and drop off into the water and I cannot swim.
