Tokyo Sesame Place had several coin operated character rides.
The vehicles were made by Amutec & Fun2Learn.
These were the same vehicles that could be found in shopping malls around the world. At Tokyo Sesame Place they cost 100 yen.

Don't remember these kiddie rides, but I remember a Sesame Street kiddie ride at a Toys "R" Us in upstate NY. My parents let me ride the thing while they paid.
ReplyDeleteAlso, at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY, there was a Superman kiddie ride on the fourth floor. It played the Superman TAS theme and there were buttons you could press. As a fan of Superman who read the comics and watched the cartoon, I loved that thing.
